Rating: 4 Stars
One of my favorite Agatha Christie novels with Hercule Poirot not as a main character.
Ten Little Indians...ten guests arrive at Indian island, all invited by a mysterious host, all hiding a secret, coincidence?! I think not!
One by one, they all start dying off. By whom? Nobody knows, but deaths follow the Ten Little Indians nursery rhyme.
What gives this book 4 stars?
1.) The context and development of the mystery is perfect. It is thrilling, confusing and leaves you wanting to read more.
2.) The development and description of the characters are also well done. The secrets they all hid are thought to be murderous and the host of the house vows to punish each and every one of them before the weekend up.
3.) The reason for the minus 1 star is that at the end of the story I still don't know who the mysterious killer/host is. I mean I have my suspicions but it is always nice for the ending to confirm your suspicions, it makes the story and ending more satisfying.
