Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré Rating: 5 Stars

This is probably my most favorite book, and movie, I. the Harry Potter Series. Don't get me wrong, I love all the books but this one for some reason warms my heart. I don't want to give any spoilers so I'll just say this, I think I like this book better because of the shocking and heartwarming ending. I also liked the Professor Lupin, he is difinatly THE best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

Full review coming upon rereading soon!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré Rating: 5 Stars

Why was I so stubborn, and avoided Harry Potter like the plague when I was younger?! It is the most AMAZING series out there, and will certainly be a classic!

Cherry Cheesecake Murder

Cherry Cheesecake Murder - Joanne Fluke Awesome...I liked the competition between the three men, Ross, Mike and Norman....

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker - Anthony Horowitz Rating: 5 Stars

I love this series so much. I don't know why, but I was searching Goodreads one day and stumbled upon this series, bought the first 5 books and became instantly addicted.

This series, well this book, draws you in from the very beginning with the mysterious death of Alex Rider's uncle. Being the inquisitive teenager that Alex is he doesn't believe for a second that his Uncle died in a so called accident. I don't want to provide any spoilers, so I'm just going to say this; this book, well this series, is amazing. Every book is fast paced, full of gadgets, and thrilling from beginning to end.
I, personally, being that I'm a 19 year old girl, love this series, it's everything that a spy thriller should be and more. I highly recommend this series to teenage boys and girls alike who love fast paced spy thrillers.

Disney after Dark

Disney after Dark - Ridley Pearson, David Frankland Rating: 4 Stars

When I lived in Florida, I was an avid Disney fan. My family had annual passes and we used to go to Disney all the time! So I figured this would be a great book for a Disney fan, such as myself.

What gives this book 4 stars?
1.) Waking up in Disney long after it closes and having the park all to yourself, you can't tell me that that isn't some kid's dream. Because lets face it long lines, crowds, and ungodly wait times suck, period! The concept is perfect, and totally imaginative!
2.) I love how the line between good and evil is a key part to keeping the 'Disney Magic' alive in the park. Believe it or not, I like that the villains play a role in the series. Within the walls of Disney, the villains are hardly mentioned in any of the attractions. They are what made the good characters heroes!
3.) Disney Hologram tour guides?! Enough said! Mr. Pearson is an absolute GENIUS!!

I liked the book a lot. I have only read books 1-3. All are very good! Perfect for middle grade Disney fans!

Found (The Missing, Book 1)

Found (The Missing, Book 1) - Margaret Peterson Haddix Rating: 5 Stars

I typically read this book at least once a year, I just love it SO much. But for some reason, I can't bring myself to read past book 2. Anyway, this is a fantastic book, hooked me from page one.

What gives thus book 5 stars?
1.) The cover...love the cover and is a perfect display of what the book is about.
2.) The character development of mainly the two boys builds very well throughout the story as they come to terms with their newfound discover of who they really are.
3.) The plot is so intriguing. Throughout this book there are so many twists and surprising discoveries, it keeps you hooked from the very beginning. Be for warned, the ending is a nerve wreaking cliffhanger!

All in all, a great read and a long series! Perfect for those who love adventure, mystery and time travel!

Peach Cobbler Murder

Peach Cobbler Murder - Joanne Fluke AWESOME!!! LOVE JOANNE FLUKE'S BOOKS!!! Hannah Sweneson, Norman, Mike, Andrea are awesome characters...I really enjoy this series!!! Thanks Joanne Fluke for an awesome series keep 'em coming..

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder - Joanne Fluke Rating: 5 Stars

This book is what made me fall in love with cozy mysteries! I first read this book about 3 years ago and deviored it like it was nobody's business. Some people make think its a cheesy mystery centered around a chunky bakery owner who has an uncanny knack for finding dead bodies, but it is so much more than that. It is a clean, and very enjoyable read. I have read all her books in the Hannah Swensen series and loved the character development and the budding romance between both Norman and Mike. Its a shame Ms. Fluke had to ruin the series with her latest 3 books...I won't give any spoilers away, but you'll know what I mean. All the mysteries are well thought out and executed to the very end. It is a very enjoyable series for everyone even younger teens that are 14 or older.

And Then There Were None

And Then There Were None - Agatha Christie Rating: 4 Stars

One of my favorite Agatha Christie novels with Hercule Poirot not as a main character.
Ten Little Indians...ten guests arrive at Indian island, all invited by a mysterious host, all hiding a secret, coincidence?! I think not!
One by one, they all start dying off. By whom? Nobody knows, but deaths follow the Ten Little Indians nursery rhyme.

What gives this book 4 stars?
1.) The context and development of the mystery is perfect. It is thrilling, confusing and leaves you wanting to read more.
2.) The development and description of the characters are also well done. The secrets they all hid are thought to be murderous and the host of the house vows to punish each and every one of them before the weekend up.
3.) The reason for the minus 1 star is that at the end of the story I still don't know who the mysterious killer/host is. I mean I have my suspicions but it is always nice for the ending to confirm your suspicions, it makes the story and ending more satisfying.
